The Purpose of This Blog is to Reconnect Pets with Parents

When I was out walking my mother's dog this morning in the Cedar Park area, a beautiful blonde Lab wearing a collar approached us. He was friendly enough for me to look for identification tags. Unfortunately there were none. This happens more often than any of us would like: We go off to work feeling secure that Fido will be secure within the confines of our fenced yards. The later when we return, Fido has escaped. Where to look? Often kind strangers will try to help, but too often Animal Control has picked him up with the intention of euthanizing our furbabies as quickly as possible. That realization was what gave birth to this blog. What if people who walk and spot a loose pet, post a description of them on this blog? At least we will have one more resource available to help us find and keep our pets.
